Pelvic organ prolapse is an international women’s health concern. The impact of POP varies from country to country and region to region; in some areas the need is for education, in some it is for medical intervention. Throughout the world there is a need to establish awareness. APOPS is a global initiative to provide support for women with pelvic organ prolapse.
As APOPS grows and evolves, the awareness curve will shift and women will start to recognize signs and symtoms of this common female health concern. Knowledge is power; as we continue to do what women do best-network, guide and support each other-women will be able to access earlier, less aggressive treatments for POP Sherrie Palm
